Blue Mosaic Tile Backsplash

The inspiration for this pattern came from the treasures of nature including peacock feathers and the colors of the ocean. One of our designers, Sarah Ryan, was researching the incredible patterns & colors of nature when she realized that she had to combine the elements of sea life and remarkable feathered creatures into one spectacular design.

Mosaic Features

Tessellated Tiles: The mosaic utilizes small, precisely cut tiles that fit together seamlessly, forming a smooth and visually appealing surface.

Vibrant Blues: The design prominently features various shades of vibrant blues, from deep, almost navy tones to lighter, turquoise hues. These blues create a sense of movement and energy, mimicking the swirling pattern.

Warm Reds and Oranges: Interspersed among the blues are warm reds and oranges, adding a striking contrast and creating focal points within the design. These warm tones add a dynamic and energetic element to the overall palette.

Neutral Grays and Whites: The design also incorporates neutral grays and whites, providing a backdrop that allows the vibrant blues, reds, and oranges to stand out. These neutral tones add balance and prevent the design from becoming overwhelming.

Swirling Pattern: The design features a swirling, abstract pattern, reminiscent of a vortex or a whirlpool. This pattern creates a sense of dynamism and movement, adding a unique and captivating element to the space.

Radial Arrangement: The tiles are arranged in a radial pattern, emanating from a central point. This arrangement enhances the swirling effect, creating a sense of depth and visual impact.

Interlocking Segments: The tiles interlock seamlessly, creating a continuous and flowing design across the backsplash. This interlocking design enhances the sense of movement and fluidity.

Asymmetrical Layout: While the pattern is radial, the overall layout may be asymmetrical, adding a sense of spontaneity and preventing the design from appearing too rigid or formal.
