Diver Designs – Experimental, Cohesive & Visually Cinematic
A luxury Tuscan villa pool within the orbit of a luxury residence set in a picturesque vineyard. Hand-cut glass in hues of blue and white. Abstract patterns paired with figure mosaics to create a gorgeous one-of-a-kind experience.

Our client had a very specific vision for this project: a hand-cut glass mosaic for a high-end Tuscan estate. We are proud to say that our design team worked tirelessly to fulfil it. A full set of design patterns was created by our design team for this luxury Tuscan villa pool mosaic, which were then sent in for approval
It was an absolute pleasure playing with mosaic figures on the pool floor. The highlights of this project were:
- Premium quality hand-cut glass tiles
- Custom hand-cut glass gradients
- Custom figurative pool art
The background colours for this pool mosaic project were kept lighter purposefully so that the divers would be visible from in between the water too. Those lighter shades were gradually deepened, keeping in mind the spaces where there were divers.
From divers scattered through the length of the pool, swimming naturally in the water, to one diver in the whole artwork serving as one focal point. The final design had a reasonable number, which helped to make the whole outlook jazzy and elegant at the same time.

Preliminary Discussion With Our Client
Our client reached out to us and shared her vision for the mosaic. The ‘diver’ figures to be added to the mosaic posed a challenging and fun objective.
Development of Design Concept
A host of design concepts were developed for the client to choose from. They ranged from designs with one diver figure as a focal point in the mosaic to a whole collection of them woven into the abstraction.
Curation of Colour Shades and Material
The material of choice was reinforced hand-cut glass in a range of hues in blues and greens
The Fabrication Process
The assembly of the actual mosaic as per the final selected design.
Addition of Finishing Touches
The quality of the fabricated mosaic is inspected and ensured. Final finishing touches are added.
Packaging & Delivery

This project brought together structure and creativity in a simple but thoughtful way. The design was built around four depth zones, where the colours slowly change from light to deep blue, making the pool feel more natural and layered.
The diver figures became the main focus of the design. Instead of just being decoration, they help guide the eye and bring movement to the surface, almost as if they are part of the water itself.
