The design process began with a simple idea: create a mural that would bring a stronger connection to nature into the home. Instead of using a repeated floral pattern, we developed a flowing botanical composition filled with leaves, stems, and blooming forms that move naturally across the wall.

The palette was designed to feel soft, rich, and balanced. Ivory floral forms were paired with sage, olive, and warm, earthy tones, while the dark background helped the lighter details stand out and added greater depth to the mural. These colors were chosen to give the mural a more natural, floral, and foliage-inspired palette.

Premium Glass Mosaic Tiles for a Botanical Floral Wall Mural
For this mural, material selection was carefully developed to support both the visual richness of the artwork and the long-term performance expected in a luxury UAE residence. We chose premium hand-cut glass mosaic tesserae because they allowed us to achieve a much finer level of detail across the leaves, floral forms, stems, and layered background elements. The small format of the tesserae gave our designers greater control over shaping each botanical curve, building softer transitions between tones, and creating a more refined mural surface overall.
The colour palette was equally important. Soft ivory tones were used to highlight the larger leaves and blooming floral forms, helping them stand out with clarity across the darker background. Sage, olive, and muted green tesserae were introduced to bring a natural foliage-inspired character to the mural, while warm earthy and amber tones were used to soften the stems, borders, and surrounding detailing. Together, these shades created a palette that feels rooted in nature without becoming overly bright or decorative, allowing the mural to sit comfortably within a contemporary interior.
