Moroccan & Mosque Calligraphy Mosaic
We have been working on a very special project that we can finally share with all of you. A beautifully designed mosque building in Faisalabad, Pakistan will we clad in custom handmade glass mosaic art by MEC. The mosque with feature both custom PIXL and handcut glass mosaic designs. Moroccan and Arabesque patterns on the facade, minarets, arches. Arabic calligraphy mosaic on the entrance, mehrab (curved prayer niche). A custom color palette random blend for several areas including the interior and around the windows.
We are excited to work on this project since it will showcase several types of mosaic techniques at one site. The reasons behind mash up of different techniques is both aesthetic and budgetary.
