Octagonal Marble Mosaic Rug
How can once make a round marble mosaic medallion look good on an octagonal area? You give it a decorative polygonal border and add a handcrafted border along the perimeter and we are good to go. A homeowner wanted to give their outdoor entrance area an uplift with a marble stone mosaic work. The client was presented with several marble rug options from the Marble Coverings and Lacuna catalogs.
Eventually, a custom medallion was prepared for this project. Furthermore, a few inspiration designs were shared. Our design department developed a new mosaic medallion for the octagonal entrance. The idea was to have an intricate medallion in the center and have plain tile around it which is encircled with another strip of mosaic border. We love how the concept render turned out.
