Client Brief
The two mosaics were designed for very different spots.
The arched mural is all about a single botanical shape. Soft greens, greys, and subtle metallics were chosen to complement the curve of the niche.
The bedroom mural takes a bigger approach. Layered tropical leaves form the backdrop, with a bird tucked among them rather than perched on top.
Before any material decisions were finalised, MC Luxuryās architects shared detailed drawings, elevations, and reference imagery.
Inspiration Moodboard
The client shared tropical mosaic designs as our starting point. We explored references that emphasized texture, form, and color in ways that could translate to large-scale murals.
Key inspirations included:

The initial sketches combine architectural plans, design annotations, and early concept explorations, mapping how the mosaics could come to life as full-scale murals
2D & 3D Visualizations
MC Luxury provided 2D and 3D visualizations, helping us see how the mosaic-inspired murals would interact with the space and scale before execution.
Color Palette & Materials
The murals draw from a cool-tone palette, adding to the luxurious feel of the residence.
Arched Mural - Tropical Theme Continuity
Second mosaic ā stayed true to the tropical theme, featuring a bird nestled among layered foliage.
Handcrafted work often reveals its true character gradually. During reviews, photographs of the first mosaic raised concerns about background reflectivity. We explained how surrounding light and surfaces can amplify reflection in images, even when the material itself remains subtle in person.

Once completed, the mosaics were packed and shipped from our warehouse in Dubai to India via DHL. Customs delays followed, as they often do with international art shipments.
Our involvement did not end with dispatch. We remained actively engaged with the client, Binoy, shipping agents, and customs authorities until the artworks were cleared.
