Details of Tavas Baroque Marble Mosaic Floor Medallion
We bring you the best of both worlds by combining the durability, luxurious finish and easy cleaning of marble mosaic flooring with the rich colors and intricate design of handwoven rugs.Tavas is an opulent marble medallion rug with an acanthus leaf scroll-work.
In the original marble medallion design, the curly scrolls featured warm fall colors – however, the client wanted something more subtle and and elegantly neutral. Customization is our forte, so we prepared a few new colorways options for some marble floor medallions based on our client’s preferences and their interior design.

- The medallion features a prominent circular shape, serving as a central focal point.
- Central Motif:
- A stylized floral or star motif radiates outward from the center, establishing grandeur.
- Baroque Patterns:
- Intricate, symmetrical patterns characteristic of the Baroque style surround the central motif.
- Includes scrolling lines, stylized leaves, and geometric shapes.
- Marble Veining:
- Natural veining and tonal variations in the marble enhance the design’s richness.
This (left) is the original Tavas combination. The medallion core and a looping chain (reminiscent of gilded gold details of the Baroque art style) complete the opulent look of the ornamental rug.
