Details of Cloud Swirl Pool Glass Tile
Stylized cloud illustrations with swirls can be seen in ancient Greek mythology art as well as Chinese art. Xiangyun refers to traditional Chinese decorative patterns featuring swirly clouds. They roughly translate to auspicious or lucky clouds in English. The cloud motif can be traced back to several Dynasty and still hold significance in present day China. The auspicious clouds generally symbolize good luck. MEC created an abstract cloud swirl mosaic pattern especially for swimming pools. It features the classic pool tile blue Vertex glass color palette. Glass mosaic tiles have been manually cut and arranged to create lovely ombre swirl clouds.
