Lion and Lamb Mosaic Medallions for a Poolside Wall

In the midst of urban life, there’s something serene about adding a touch of nature to your space. When Illona H., a passionate art lover from the US, approached us, she had a clear vision: two unique mosaic portraits for her outdoor pool area.

Illona wanted something special—no cookie-cutter designs. She envisioned a majestic lion and a gentle lamb, each captured in mosaic form. We worked closely with her, ensuring every detail from the lion’s mane to the lamb’s blue eyes was just right.

Crafting Personalized Art: Lion & Lamb Mosaic Portraits

Illona wanted something special—no cookie-cutter designs. She envisioned a majestic lion and a gentle lamb, each captured in mosaic form. We worked closely with her, ensuring every detail from the lion’s mane to the lamb’s blue eyes was just right.

Production Timeline & Transparency: Making It Happen

With a time-sensitive project, Illona wanted to know our production process and timeline. “Our lead time for the lion mosaic and lamb mosaic medallions is around six weeks from the date of order confirmation,” we informed her.

MEC offered to expedite it further should the project require that,” we added, but Illona was content with the timeline. Her main focus was on getting the mosaic details just right, so we left room for tweaks and changes instead of rushing the delivery.

Queries & Practical Details: Making It Work

Illona had some practical questions about the installation process:

  • What is the base of the mosaic—mesh, wood, or something else? And how can I fix it to the wall?” she asked.
  • The mosaics will come on a mesh backing sheet and can be installed with regular adhesives used by tile installers. Mosaic installation is a seamless process,” we explained.

Although she hoped we could provide installation services, we reassured her that any skilled tile installer could handle the job.

Order Confirmation and Client Satisfaction

Once everything was set, Illona confirmed the order.

  • Let’s proceed with the order, please,” she said.
  • “Please find the invoice attached for your review. We will proceed with the line work followed by the mosaic fabrication upon order confirmation. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us,” we replied.
  • Looking forward to getting this fabrication started!” Illona responded, excited to see her vision come to life.

It was as simple as that! Anyone can get a custom mosaic design made from MEC, you do not have to be an architect or a designer for that.

Converting Lamb & Lion Images Into Handmade Mosaic

Given the size—2 feet and 4 inches in diameter—we knew we had to simplify the details of the mosaic art. Illona was kept in the loop throughout the process, reviewing the design and requesting tweaks as needed.

The lion mosaic and lamb mosaic artworks turned out beautifully. Illona loved them but requested a few more tweaks to make them perfect. Changes, during or after the fabrication sounds complicated and impossible, doesn’t it? But it is never too late to request for the changes you feel are necessary to make your custom mosaic perfect. We strive to delight our clients and as part of that we never pack and dispatch a mosaic project until the client is completely satisfied with it.

Seeing Illona’s delight when she received the finished pieces—that’s what makes our job worthwhile. At MEC, it’s not just about creating art; it’s about making sure our clients are thrilled with their one-of-a-kind custom made mosaic art.

After seeing Illona’s beautiful lion and lamb mosaics, you might be wondering how a custom mosaic could fit into your own space. We’re excited to hear your ideas and work with you to create something extraordinary. Reach out to us, and let’s start planning your own personalized mosaic masterpiece.
