When our UAE-based client, Yasmin, reached out to our team, she already had a clear vision in mind.
A floral mosaic backsplash to sit behind the mirror of her powder room. She had explored our website and was especially drawn to our collection of botanical mosaic backsplashes.
It was a delight to work with a client like Yasmin, who collaborated closely with our team, providing detailed notes, annotated sketches, and sample mosaics to bring her vision of soft purples and creamy tones to life.
Client Brief
Yasmin initially shared a set of reference images and a hand-drawn sketch to communicate what she was imagining. Her request was precise yet creative:
- Floral theme with purple, light purple, dark purple, and plum tones
- Cream-toned background instead of a dark base
- Dimension added through multiple beige shades, not a single flat tone
- Mother-of-pearl detailing for subtle shine and depth
Custom size: 174 cm x 180 cm to perfectly fit the powder room’s back wall Despite calling her sketch “very basic,” it gave our design team the exact starting point needed.
Design Consultation
Our team prepared a full design presentation featuring multiple layout and color options, each tailored to her palette and size requirements.
