Blaise Marble Mosaic Fountain Medallion

MEC’s opulent Baroque-inspired Lacuna marble rugs were perfect. Ultimately, a customized version of Blasie marble mosaic flooring medallion was selected to go around the three tiered fountain.

• The design of the mosaic is characterized by elaborate, swirling patterns reminiscent of Baroque or Rococo styles.
• These patterns consist of stylized floral motifs and scrolling tendrils that radiate outward from the fountain’s central base.
• The golden and beige hues of the patterns add a touch of opulence and warmth to the design, creating a visually captivating contrast against the black background.
• Each motif is carefully rendered with delicate lines and subtle shading, giving the impression of depth and three-dimensionality.
• The edges of the circular mosaic are defined by a repeating geometric border, featuring a classic Greek key or meander pattern, which adds a sense of formality and frames the central design effectively.

About the mosaic work: Blaise features a detailed scroll-work in a rich black and gold color theme. Curling acanthus leaf scrolls are made from the finest quality hand-cut marble mosaic tiles. Notice the delicate details and the small flower motifs that give Blaise the look of an actual woven rug. The Greek Square and Renaissance French Lily borders are intricately handcrafted to elegantly compliment the exquisite grandeur of the Blaise medallion. The classic style marble flooring is perfect for extravagantly decorated interiors.
