Moroccan mosaic and zellige themed tile patterns are popular in Mediterranean style houses and hotels. While most of the times you would see such patterns on niches, walls and sometimes even ceilings and domes, this is a creative application. The Alves family from Porto Alegre, Brazil wanted a geometric Moroccan trellis like pattern for their swimming pool. The design has been converted into a PIXL grid pattern with MEC’s AddTek system and features our classic Vertex 20 (vitreous glass) tiles.
