Blaise Light Marble Mosaic Rug

There is something timeless about serene cobblestone courtyard spaces. A designer from Beirut wanted something unique and handmade for a courtyard sitting area for an eatery he is working on. The space is planned to feature a natural stone tile facade, a fireplace area, a hand forged wrought iron railing and wooden garden furniture. Marble mosaic floor medallion gits in so wonderfully with slate tiles on the wall and cobblestone. Marble but in a more refined form and an intricate ornamental design creates a lovely textural contrast as well.? The original Blaise marble mosaic floor medallion had a dark colorway. It has been customized for this specific project.

This mosaic medallion design features scroll-work in a cream and gold color theme. Finest quality hand-cut marble mosaic tiles have been arranged together to make curling acanthus leaf scrolls. Small flower motifs give Blaise the look of an actual woven rug. The Greek Square and Renaissance French Lily borders are intricately handcrafted to elegantly compliment the exquisite grandeur of the Blaise medallion.
